ONE SMALL STEP FOR THE CHEESESTEAK, ONE GIANT LEAP FOR CHARLEY'S STEAKERY

Charley's brings fresh-grilled subs to Army & Air Force Exchange Service.

Columbus, Ohio-Boldly going where no other Philadelphia-style cheesesteak brand has dared to go before, Charley's Steakery, Inc. is once again in the headlines.  This time, Charley's fresh-grilled cheesesteak subs are sizzling their way into Army and Air Force exchanges across America and beyond.  The secret to the brand's success? Its unfaltering commitment to preparing and serving the freshest, highest quality cheesesteaks and fresh-grilled subs in the business.

Charley's recent relationship with Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) is testimony that a great product can take a brand anywhere.  The AAFES agrement, which will send the Charlyey's Steakery brand to military sites on an international scale, occurred as a direct result of the quality of the company's food.

With cheesesteaks ranking second only to the hamburger at military cafeterias and snack bars where they are sold, AAFES was on the look out for a cheesesteak chain to set up shop in base food courts. The first two Charley's Steakery military stores, located respectively at Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii and Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama, are successfully up and running.  By October, stores will be open at Elmenorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska, and Camp Foster in Okinawa, Japan, and 15 additional stores are planned to open in the U.S., Europe and Korea over the next two years. www.charleyssteakery.com
